without first being brave. ABOUT THE ROLE: The Strategy Director
helps usher in D&G’s next generation strategy function. In
equal measures a business strategist and a creative planner, this
individual’s portfolio includes successful product-market analyses,
go-to-market strategies, creative strategies and business
transforming ideas. This person also has a strong point-of-view on
brands and the role of advertising in the world. In addition to
being a day-to-day leader on Kia – deeply engaged with the
multidisciplinary team on the account– they will help the Group
Strategy Director and CSO elevate, direct and grow our strategy
practice, ensuring we have the best-in-class tools, techniques and
talent. They will be a vital ally to the GCD in ideating and
creating brave, effective campaigns, and to the leadership in
upleveling the account service department to a consultative
business practice. They will also work closely with the analytics
team to ensure data underlines every step of the strategic and
creative process. QUALIFICATIONS: A self-starter with insatiable
curiosity, drive and hunger. As passionate about the work, as they

successful track record of leading happy, productive teams across
disciplines, agencies and personalities. A curious individual
looking for new and novel ways to solve challenges A super-smart,
indispensable contributor to the work and our culture, who mentors
and empowers others to do the same. A persuasive and inspiring
communicator, adept at managing up, down and cross-stream
stakeholders in real-time and sometimes in politically-charged
environments. Unflappable and calm demeanor in the midst of change,
who can expertly anticipate and mitigate risks. A strong
storyteller with the ability to bring to ideas to life in
presentations and in-person. Experience in presenting to senior
clients. REQUIREMENTS: 8 years of advertising agency, research,
client-side and/or consulting experience. Demonstrated successes in
identifying market-, brand-, media-, and customer-driven data and
insights to produce groundbreaking work. Fully integrated chops
(traditional, digital, media, CRM, social, mobile). Expertise in
qualitative and quantitative research. Not an asshole. Video Link

Los Angeles, CA. The base salary range is $140k - $160k plus
benefits. Please note: This role requires someone to be onsite in
the D&G office 3 days per week — Tuesdays, Wednesdays and
Thursdays. Some on-set production and occasional travel may also be
