Easy Apply now by clicking the "Apply" button and sending us your resume.Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per yearA bit about us:Premier Multifamily Builder - we are looking to add a Construction Superintendent with multifamily experience!If you are a Superintendent with at least 5 years of experience in the multifamily space, keep reading because this might be the perfect role for you...Why join us?Competitive base salaryBonusesMonthly auto allowancePaid medical, vision, dental, and basic life insurance401(k) plan + matchCareer growthJob DetailsSummaryResponsible for the overall field supervision of a complex construction project in accordance with company policies, procedures and goals by performing their duties personally or through subordinate Superintendents.General ResponsibilitiesOversee all construction project field activities and supervise other Superintendents, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure completion of the project on time and on budgetUpdate Project Executive on the status of the project and performance of subordinate Superintendents, subcontractors and suppliersResponsibilitiesSupervise all field operations on a construction project in accordance with company policies and contractual obligationsSchedule and direct subcontractors, suppliers and field personnel in the daily sequencing of installation activities on the project directly or through multiple subordinate SuperintendentsReview and understand the project pre-construction planning and documentationReview and fully understand the relationship and obligations between contractor and all project design, engineering and development consultantsReview all project subcontract agreements and major supplier purchase orders to fully understand and comply with all contractual terms and obligations between contractor and all subcontractors and major suppliersBecome intimately familiar with all project plans, specifications and project requirementsOversee project mobilization, installation of temporary facilities and on-going site logistics measuresWork with the Project Manager and subordinate Superintendents in the creation, management, updating and reporting of the construction schedule through project completionOversee production and management of look ahead schedulesProvide oversight of project RFIsProduce and maintain detailed daily reports of all jobsite conditions and activities in the PM software system, including exact number of personnel working on the site for each trade, detailed descriptions of each subcontractors' activities, jobsite weather conditions, inspections, deliveries, injuries, visitors and daily photographsAttend all project OAC meetings and oversee reporting on the project schedule updates, look ahead schedules and other jobsite issuesLead the project team in the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of all project installationsProvide oversight of periodic inspections by building departments, consultants and other jurisdictional agenciesProvide oversight of project final inspectionsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesMentor and supervise subordinate Superintendents and project field staff membersMonitor and manage subordinate Superintendents and project field staff workloads to maintain efficient productivitySupport the recruitment and interviewing of potential new Superintendents and field staffing candidates as necessary to ensure achievement of project goals and company objectivesReview and monitor the performance of subordinate Superintendents and field staff, and conduct periodic performance reviews and develop performance improvement plans as necessaryQualificationsMinimum 10 years of construction superintendent experience in multi-family constructionOSHA 30-hour and CPR/First-Aid certificationsValid CA driver's license is requiredMicrosoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PM Web or other construction project management softwareInterested in hearing more?
