We are seeking a Demand Planner who will be responsible for planning demand forecasts and inventory to ensure a 90% in stock rate on active skus at our distribution centers (DCs). This role prepares assembly orders for the DCs to fulfill customer orders on time. The Demand Planner organizes and communicates exits of products while minimizing destroys and coordinating seamless introduction of new products.

The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail focused, technically savvy, and comfortable in an evolving, fast-paced culture. This person will be an integral part of the Alchemee supply chain team and will have various opportunities for professional development in our "all hands-on deck" environment!

Essential Functions
Plans forecasts at multiple channels and levels of aggregation for rolling 12-month planning horizon.
Collaborates with internal and external partners including brand, retail, and marketing teams to ensure successful fulfillment of sales plans and promotional events.
Manages inventory on active skus by reviewing open orders by factory and reflowing based on business needs. Collaborates with supply team and factories to ensure production and shipments arrive on time.
Reports and analyzes demand plans every month and prepares monthly forecasts to factories and DC partners which includes presenting actualized sales vs. forecasts by channel to cross-functional teams. Analyzes current trends, identifies opportunities to deviate from existing plans, and provides actionable directives when changing an existing plan or creating a new plan.
Prepares work orders for assembly kits and distributes orders to DC team for timely and accurate assembly of packaged goods for customer orders.
Administers destroy budget by executing seamless exits and entrances of products in all product lines.
Supports the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meeting to review forecast and inventory positions.
Trains, develops, and mentors associate planner(s). Ensures all essential functions and deliverables meet deadlines.
Maintains data integrity through data cleansing, validation processes, and ad-hoc checks.
Other duties as assigned.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
Three (3) or more years of relevant experience in sales and operations planning, supply and demand planning, new product forecasting and/or inventory management, required.
Have demonstrated ability to lead and implement a process in an organization or team.
Highly proficient in Excel: can create and own complex templates with data dumps.
Experience in MRP systems; Oracle experience preferred.
Proven ability to analyze current trends, identify opportunities to deviate from existing plans, and provide actionable directives when changing an existing plan or creating a new plan.

Strong analytical skills and an ability to focus on optimizing inventory performance while meeting financial targets.
Ability to multi-task, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and work with a sense of urgency.
Possess good anticipation skills and the ability to challenge the status of quo of current processes while providing solutions to drive efficiencies.
Display a strong sense of ownership and commitment to work.
Ability to be nimble and problem resolution oriented, and engage in both creative and analytical approaches to business strategies.
Ability to travel approx. 20-30%, as required by business
