AMI Network is partnered with one of the leading mental health and substance abuse treatment solutions in Southern California!This addiction treatment center has continued growing since the moment they opened with typically, 30-35 clients now and running 40 groups per week. They are focused on helping young adults gain the tools and coping skills they need to succeed. In addition to PHP, IOP, OP and Detox, they also offer Life Skills & Career Development and Therapeutic Modalities.As Program Director, your role would be to provide leadership, coordination and clinical supervision to multidisciplinary teams with a focus on quality improvement and continued growth! If you are the type of leader that also enjoys taking on a small caseload and leading up to 2 groups a week to keep your finger on the pulse of the center - you may be just the perfect fit!The ideal candidate for this role has leadership experience as a licensed clinician in a clinic setting.Program Director Responsibilities (while managing a team of 4 Clinicians and 2 Case Managers):Implement engaging and dynamic clinical schedule that includes the development of curriculum, and hiring and scheduling of staff and independent contractors/group facilitators.Work with the treatment team to develop and implement a treatment plan for each client within their caseload including establishing goals, following and updating discharge timelines, working toward financial independence (budgeting), establishing and strengthening life skills, and tracking educational/vocational goals.Continually assess client needs including legal, medical, mental health, vocational, educational, and ADL's, and provide feedback to the clinical team.Oversee DC planning and processFacilitate individual and family therapy and maintain a caseload of 3-5 clientsCreate and facilitate group therapy twice weeklyEnsure that clinical services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices.Complete timely EMR (Electronic Medical Record) documentationTrack and report client outcomes in conjunction with cliniciansCommunicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referents.Ensure compliance to regulations set forth by The Joint Commission and DHCS and perform ongoing quality assurance practicesMonitor case records to assure that required treatment documentation is included and meets agency and professional standards including MTPs, TPRs, etc. per DHCS and The Joint Commission standards daily, weekly, and monthly as necessary.Monitor licensing on-site visits and questionsCorrespond with insurance biller for UR communications and provide UR information/supportDocument all incident reports for client's file and company recordsSupervise the admissions and re-admissions process and is available for phone evaluationsCollaborate with sober livings to increase clear communication and mutual supportProvide clinical supervision in accordance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standardsWork with administrative and program staff to provide a culturally competent system of careHire, supervise and evaluate professional staff and cultivate effective team operationPlan and lead all required staff meetingsAssure the implementation of a comprehensive training programProvide mediation in the event of staff or client conflictProvide written warnings when/if staff members not adhering to the standards of work environmentMaintain and model professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and confidentialityCommunicate regularly with all referring agenciesEngage in monthly marketing events including tours, networking, and conference presentationsClinical Director Qualifications:Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)Must have prior experience Supervising Clinicians. This could be a great fit if your title is Program Director, Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisor, etc.It's a HUGE plus, but not a requirement if you have experience in any of the following settings: Addiction Treatment Center, Mental Health Treatment Centers, Community Health Clinic, or related setting. Final salary per employer discretion and commensurate with experience.
