The Associate Manager, Communications and Community role will provide strategic social media, marketing, communications, and administrative support across the Field Marketing + Communications team. She/He will manage weekly tasks associated with teams goals including: email coding and calendar management; social media community and calendar management; social media content creation/management; KPI/analytics tracking across multiple platforms; day-to-day BTC content management via Contentful; weekly email marketing support; and general communications/marketing coordination.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Updating weekly Behind The Counter content using the Contentful platform
  • Daily community management across Field social media channels
  • Daily social calendar creation/management
  • Coordination of incoming communications requests
  • Weekly email marketing support using Mailchimp and Sailthru platforms
  • Tracking weekly KPI/analytics and reporting back to the team
  • General administrative support for the Field Marketing and Communications team
  • Innovation and trend monitoring across marketing, communications, and social media


  • 2-3 years experience working in marketing, communications, and/or social media (beauty, fashion, or startup industries preferred)
  • 2-3 years of experience providing social media community management, and general social media management
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a fast-paced coordination and/or support role
  • 1-3 years of experience working in email marketing/email design and coding
  • 1-2 years of experience working in direct sales

Preferred Experience includes:

  • Content management systems (Contentful preferred)
  • email marketing platforms (Mailchimp and Sailthru preferred)
  • project management platforms (Wrike preferred)
  • basic email coding experience
  • social media analytics native and 3rd party platforms (Sprout Social or similar platform experience preferred)
  • Adobe programs, specifically Dreamweaver.
