Job Description:

ResponsibilitiesUnder supervision, security officers protect and guard all assets, staff, patients, and visitors in and around the assigned location. Security Officers perform regular patrols and document all routine activities, incidents, and may perform in a lead capacity as well as other duties as assigned. Security Officers enforce all policies and state laws, and follow all guidelines including state regulatory agency requirements. Responsible for ensuring that the building is properly secured after closing.QualificationsRequired:Guard Card, D.O.J Chemical Agent, CPR and California Driver LicensePhysicallyable to perform sustained foot patrols, prolonged standing, lifting patients,and physically restrain patients or prisoners as necessary.Visualand hearing ability to detect and report unusual circumstances quickly andaccurately.Abilityto operate security related equipment and general office equipment.Preferred:Hospital or Clinic Security experience, Law Enforcement and/or Military.UCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
