Systems is looking for a Supply Chain Manager 2 – 1st Shift (4/10
Monday - Thursday) to join our team of qualified, diverse
individuals within Global Supply Chain organization. This
leadership role is located onsite at our Palmdale Center of
Excellence in Palmdale, CA . We offer flexible work arrangements,

our services and become even better at what we do. The Manager
Supply Chain 2 is responsible for activities and knowledge within
multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Responsible
for Supply Chain Material Chemical processes, including inventory
management, material procurement. Participates in various aspects
of supply chain process areas: Supply Chain-Plan, Supply
Chain-Source, Supply Chain-Make, Supply Chain-Deliver as well as
Supply Chain-Operations. Exhibits end-to-end supply chain
competency and manages one or more Supply Chain functions
(Planning, Sourcing, Small Business/Disadvantaged Programs,
Supplier Quality, Warehouse & Transportation, Analytics,
Compliance, Systems, etc.). Responsibilities include: Lead a team
of exempt and non-exempt employees, who are responsible for the
shipping, receiving and warehouse operations supporting various
production programs including chemical management. Coordinates
interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Engineering,
Warehousing, Traffic, Procurement, etc. Responsible for meeting
direct budget targets, writing/updating work instructions,
providing performance metrics, and making recommendations to
improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. Leads
a team that has the mission statement to support all Production
goals and objectives through the accurate tracking, receiving,
shipping with a strong focus on safety and cost efficiency. Leads
the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring
performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Train and guide employees in keeping with all Northrop Grumman
Values & Leader Characteristics Collaborate with various programs
on projects related to material receipt, storage, issue, and
transportation. Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and
external customers, including local, state, federal, and
international agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory
requirements in support of Aeronautics Systems Sector programs.
Directs team activities associated with program transportation,
including major deliveries (classified and unclassified), and
specialty movements as they relate to transportability. Our Leaders

and inspires others. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with 5
years of experience in supply chain management, project management,
manufacturing, operations, or business management OR a Master’s
Degree with 3 years of experience in supply chain management,
project management, manufacturing, operations, or business
management OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent with 9 years of
experience in supply chain management, project management,
manufacturing, operations, or business management Must have a
minimum of 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or
projects Must have basic knowledge of Material Requirements
Planning or Enterprise Resource planning and/or equivalent Planning
experience Current active DoD Secret level clearance to apply/start
Ability to obtain and maintain Program Special Access within a
reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company Preferred
Qualifications: Current Program Special Access Master's Degree in
Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field Ability
to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and
able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment while
demonstrating a professional attitude. Working Knowledge of SAP
Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00 The above
salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop
Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary
offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and
the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market
conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible
for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance
coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid
holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal
