Our client is a busy, friendly Plaintiffs Personal Injury law firm in *Beverly Hills, California looking for a personal injury paralegal with 1-4 years of experience*. Candidate must be able to work independently and under tight deadlines. A successful candidate desires a long-term, stable and rewarding position with a firm that appreciates their skills and relies on the outstanding quality of their work._*Salary: $40-$60 per hour*_Job responsibilities include: Interface directly with clients to discuss their case details, including obtaining HIPAA releases, getting information needed for Plaintiff document productions Communicating with clients on case progress Ordering medical records and coordinating with third party vendors for document retrieval / collection from clients social media, cell phones, email, etc. Maintain attorney calendars and schedules; working with court staff to obtain hearing dates and trial schedules Support attorneys in case workup and ongoing processes towards trial Draft documents such as pleadings, discovery demands and correspondence Prepare responsive production documents for discovery or subpoena requests Electronically file/e-service of pleadings and discovery Summarize records and reports such as depositions, medical records, internal documents and incoming discovery Obtain, review and analyze documents, including medical records Prepare for trial by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files Compile evidence and supporting information by searching records, discovery documents, transcripts, libraries and databases This position is full timeWhat the Law Firm is Looking for in the Candidate: Litigation paralegal: with 1 to 4 years experience, preferably with a Plaintiffs Personal Injury Practice Ability to work with minimal supervision Benefits: medical, dental and vision insurance, sick leave, paid vacation, moreJob Type: Full-timePay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shiftWork Location: In personby Jobble
