Role/TeamGoodRx is looking for an experienced polyglot engineer to
join its Prescription Management team. This group has been tasked
to personalize the experience between a user and their
prescriptions throughout the GoodRx ecosystem. The team visualizes
data and information in ways that both engage and inform.As part of
the Prescription Management team, the ideal candidate will have
direct experience in modern service based development, coupled with
a strong desire to make an impact in a backend environment. Along
with a diverse technical acumen, the candidate should have an
equally strong ability to lift up and work with others while
striving to reach the team's goals.Responsibilities
- Be a team player, collaborate, and learn from those around

- Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and performant
services
- Continually improve the codebase and test coverage through
refactoring, unit testing, system testing, automating deployment
and operations
- Maintain an understanding of the business requirements and work
closely with stakeholders to understand what they need and why
- Make smart engineering and product decisions based on data
analysis and collaboration
- Help improve engineering standards and processes
- Bring an agile, iterative, and curious mindset to every
challenge
- Be a subject matter expert for others both in your squad and
beyondRequired Skills:
- 4+ years of professional experience working as an engineer
- Significant experience designing, building, deploying,
operating, and maintaining cloud-based web services and
microservices (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- Extensive experience with multiple programming languages (Go,
Java, python, C#, Rust, etc.)
- Strong experience with relational and non-relational database
technologies
- Proven debugging/troubleshooting skills
- Deep understanding and knowledge of component-level and
application-level design patterns
- Ability to deal with ambiguous and complex project
requirements
- Effective verbal and written communicator
- Experience with observability and monitoring systems (Datadog,
Sumo Logic, Cloudwatch, Sentry, etc---)
- Experience with different testing practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or
a related quantitative degreePreferred Skills:
- Preferred languages - Go and Python
- Experience with containers and container orchestrators like
Docker, Kubernetes, AKS
- Knowledge of front end development (React, iOS, or Android) is
beneficial
- Experience with agile methodologies and rapid iteration
cyclesCompensation decisions are determined using a variety of
factors such as skill set, experience, and education or
certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will
consider all individual qualifications. Below are our salary ranges
for this position based on office location: San Francisco Office:
$180,000 - $288,000New York Office - $165,000 - $264,000Santa
Monica Office: $150,000 - $240,000GoodRx also offers additional
