Our Hosts and Hostesses are crucial to creating memorable experiences as they are the first and last point of contact for our guests. Candidates should be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the high standard of hospitality synonymous with the Marriott name. Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere Manage dining reservations and walk-ins, providing guests with accurate wait times Coordinate with wait staff and manage seating arrangements to optimize service and dining experience Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns in a timely fashion Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station Provide menus and announce waitstaff names to add a personal touch Assist in table clearing and resetting for peak times Handle special requests and provide guest feedback to management and relevant teams Strong interpersonal and communication skills Effective organizational and time-management abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a customer-focused attitude Basic knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems Certification in hospitality management or customer service is a plus First aid and CPR certifications beneficial
