Program Manager is tasked with ensuring effective operations of NHF
recuperative care facility. Direct reports include Environmental
Site Associate Coordinator, Program Coordinators, and Guest Service
associates and/or Environmental Site Associates during the
coordinator’s absences. Responsibilities and Initiatives To help
NHF meet its growth goals, the Program Manager will: • Oversee the
quality of guest services provided meet NHF standards by
implementing and monitoring day-to-day operational systems and
procedures in accordance with the company’s standards of operation;
coordinate and assign daily routines and coverages of operation
team, providing coaching and training when needed. • Develop,
implement, and consistently monitor health and safety measures
including but not limited to, hazard communications, evacuation
procedures, incident management. • Collaborate with LVN Nursing
Manager to properly dispose of medical waste. • Coordinate with
internal and external partners for special events held at the
facility. • Conducts weekly site safety inspections and coordinates
with the environmental service coordinator to ensure necessary
repairs are completed. • Collaborates with interdisciplinary team
to coordinate guest’s quality of care, ensure all staff supervise
permissible to accurately utilized bed board application to
determine census cap for operational planning (i.e.) room changes,
meal planning etc. • Collaborate with Director and Leadership of
any pertinent information regarding the operations on a regular
basis. Maintain, manage, and review department budget with
Director. • Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and meet the
on-call requirement to appropriately triage issues and provide
solutions within program operations. • Ensure that all direct
reports execute immediate crisis intervention/emergency assistance
to guests and/other staff members. • Ensure all incident reports
and/reporting, Emergency Action Plan (EAP) documentation are
reviewed and meet compliance. Provide training as needed. • Assist
Director in developing and maintaining a system of education,
in-services and training for all staff and people supported. •
Collaborate with Program Coordinators and/shift leads or designee
to complete weekly inventory for operations department. • Complete
and ensure all operational software is being utilized to complete
daily tasks. • Coordinate with Administrative assistant to ensure
all supply orders are placed and received to include any issues
with transportation. • Create an environment of growth and
development by delegating duties to the team, assign special
projects as needed to operations staff, etc. • Complete and conduct
additional tasks/duties as assigned to meet the needs of the
facility, notwithstanding, primary responsibilities. • Review and
approve all timecards operations department, that includes but not
limited to Environmental Site Coordinator, Program Coordinators
Environment Site Associates and Guest Service Associates, in a
timely matter. This includes making any timecard corrections,
having all employees approve timecard prior to manager approval. •
Ensure that all operations staff members are compliant with CA
labor laws such as breaks, lunch periods, not working off the
clock, etc. • Collaborate with People and Culture department on any
issues or questions as needed. • Conduct monthly GSA meetings in
collaboration with monthly staff meetings and/engagement. • Conduct
yearly performance appraisal, bi-monthly one-on-one supervision
with direct reports. • Conduct corrective actions plans as needed
for staff, up to and including termination with the support of
People and Culture. • Work in collaboration with community
liaison/security guard to ensure safety of guests, staff,
volunteers/interns, and visitors on the property. • Trains staff in
the use of security and surveillance systems. • Observe department
guidelines to conduct personal business during breaks and lunch
hour. • Self-identify potentially unsafe
systems/processes/situations and takes initiative to report to the
Director. • Complete and conduct additional tasks/duties as
assigned to meet the needs of the facility, notwithstanding,
primary responsibilities. • Always follow NHF policies and
procedures Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred. 2-3 years’
supervisory experience with demonstrated experience of coaching and
mentoring staff in related field. Familiarity working with LAHSA
regulations. Knowledge of OSHA regulations preferred but not
required. Current BLS certification strongly preferred, but not
required. Prior working experience in residential treatment
facility, mental health facility, substance abuse treatment center,
or homeless shelter preferred. • Excellent verbal/written
communication skills required. Must have the ability to multi-task,
problem solve, meet deadlines, follow through, and manage a team in
a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively with
all levels of staff, guests, and visitors. Physical Requirements
The duties as described will required frequent standing and
walking, as well as extended sitting. The employee will frequently
bend/stoop, squat, reach above the shoulders, twist, and turn,
kneel, and push/pull. The employee will frequently be required to
lift/pull/push/move up to 50 pounds. Must utilize conversational
speech for effective verbal communication. Noise level is high in
some guest care areas. Must be able to hear equipment alarms,
overhead pages, and direct verbal communication Benefits PROGRAMS
