Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Irvine, CA Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $3,100 to $3,120 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) 3 years’ experience REQUIRED. Pyxis medication system, EPIC documentation, SBAR communication. Provider support includes interpretation services. Teaching and Community hospital experience preferred. Certifications REQUIRED: BLS (AHA); OCN in hand (4 year OCN Nat'l certification) Skills/Experience REQUIRED: Oncology Skills/Experience Preferred: Interpretation of laboratory results; Referrals; Telephone Triage; Follow up phone calls; Imaging results; Patient Teaching Requirements RN Nurse Navigator for Oncology ambulatory clinic will help to navigate newly diagnosed breast cancer patients with multimodality therapy and complex care needs. Supports breast medical, surgical and radiation oncology new patients. Helps to determine barriers for care and initiate teaching and referrals for newly diagnosed patients.
