In this vital role you will be a key member of US Value and Access (US V&A) within the Contracts & Pricing Execution Team (CPE). The Senior Manager, 340B Operations is a key leader within the Payer Operations team, accountable for driving 340B program execution with a strong focus on operational excellence, compliance, and data-driven insights. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Value Access & Insights, Commercial Execution Team including Payer, Chargebacks Operations, and Membership and Government Pricing, as well as external stakeholders and third-party administrators to ensure effective and compliant operations. This position will be responsible for managing staff dedicated to the 340B program and will guide the team through the evolving landscape to ensure Amgens success in the Commercial Healthcare Market. The ideal candidate brings 340B expertise, strong chargeback and rebate operations experience, and a proven ability to present complex data structures and lead teams Develop spreadsheet models for moderately complex financial analyses, deliver formal presentations, lead special projects, participate in rebate contract development and reviewProvide innovative solutions with a broader, more complex, and evolving 340B landscapeDocument processes to support the maintenance of the 340B program and provide leadership with impact analysis summarizing resourcing needs and timing of key activitiesProvide recommendations for application enhancements or the use of other tools to improve processes and reportingDevelop and maintain controls related to Amgens SOX requirements and other reporting and certification requirementsEstablish and maintain effective relationships with Model N business users, Legal, DTI, Coverage and Pricing, Accounting/Finance, Compliance, and other cross-functional groups, external partners, and suppliers to successfully manage team deliverablesPrepare and present regular updates on 340B activities to senior leadershipWork with external vendors to define capabilities required for 340B data collection, processing, reporting and integration with Amgen systemsActively pursue continuing education to understand current and proposed legislation, rules and regulatory developments related to 340B and communicates the associated impact to the Contracts and Pricing Execution teamDesign comprehensive solutions to anticipate and address partner needs based on organizational strategy and vision What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 2 years of project management/transaction processing operations and/or leadership experience OR Masters degree and 4 years of project management/transaction processing operations and/or leadership experience OR Bachelors degree and 6 years of project management/transaction processing operations and/or leadership experience OR Associates degree and 10 years of project management/transaction processing operations and/or leadership experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of project management/transaction processing operations and/or leadership experience Preferred Qualifications: Experienced knowledge of the 340B and/or broader Government programs landscapePayer experience and/or pharma/biotech experience with an emphasis in commercial operationsExecutive-level communication skills, including building and delivering senior-leadership presentations and translating complex data/processes into clear, concise summaries across multiple systemsStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving: synthesizes information, navigates ambiguity, and enables actionable business analysisSupervisory/people-management experience and demonstrated growth in responsibility and leadershipStrong financial acumen/backgroundProven ability to lead multiple complex projects concurrently through completionEffective collaborator in fast-paced, fluid, cross-functional, matrixed environmentsHigh attention to detail and reporting accuracy while maintaining strong conceptual focusIdentifies and implements cross-functional process improvement opportunitiesApplies sound judgment to support organization structure What you can expect of us As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
