Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Southern
California Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: Santa Monica,
California Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment; every other weekend required; no
on-call; may float to postpartum as needed Highlights: Beachside
acute care hospital with 266 staffed beds and approximately 200
deliveries per month 4 antepartum rooms, 9 labor/high-risk rooms,
and 3 triage rooms Responsibilities include fetal heart monitoring,
high-risk pregnancy monitoring, vaginal deliveries, and circulating
or scrubbing for C-sections Epic charting system; interdisciplinary
support includes respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and
rapid response teams No on-call requirement; float to postpartum
couplet care if census requires Patient population includes
neonates, adolescents, and adults; privacy and discretion highly
valued Requirements: Active California RN license (must be in hand
prior to submission) Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
required Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time
travelers not accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM, and
AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (or NCC EFM acceptable); all
certifications must be AHA where applicable Epic charting
experience required Experience with vaginal deliveries, C-section
circulation/scrubbing, sterile vaginal exams, and high-risk
antepartum care LA County Fire Life Safety card required within the
last 30 days 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the
