Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1
year of experience and BLS/ARRT certification for day shifts with
rotational call coverage. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in an
acute care hospital's nuclear medicine department - Day shifts
Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotational call
coverage - Weekend and holiday stand-by/call required from 7:00 AM
to 11:00 PM; weekday call from end of shift until 11:00 PM -
Required to perform lymphoscintigraphy studies, including injection
of tracer - Patient ratio is 1:2 - EMR system used is Epic -
Floating may be required to similar units and to other facilities
within the state - Main duties include performing nuclear medicine
procedures and injections for lymphoscintigraphy studies - Must be
able to float between facilities within the state as needed - Must
commit to working at least 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving,
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) -
First-time travelers will be accepted for this position - Local
candidates are accepted but will be considered at a lower rate if
within a 50-mile radius - Former permanent staff may return after a
3 month break and must live outside a 50-mile radius - Scrub color
and dress code may vary by department; further details to be
provided - Pre-start and annual online modules required for
onboarding and training /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 1 year
nuclear medicine technologist experience - Current BLS and ARRT
certification required - Must have experience performing
lymphoscintigraphy tracer injections - Experience with Epic
charting preferred or required - California license must be in hand
if applicable - Two supervisory references covering 1 year within
the past 3 years required - LA Fire Card attained within the last
30 days required - Weekend availability is required /n Benefits/n -
