The Medical Doctors of St. John's is seeking a hospitalist to join their supportive team in Santa Monica, California. Enjoy making an impact in healthcare while exploring sunny California.

• Will work at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica
• Average daily census of 15-17 patients per 12-hour shift
• 7-8 hospitalists during day shifts (12-hour shift)
• 1-2 hospitalist during night shift (12-hour shift)
• Concurrent rounding and admitting shifts with option for swing admitting shifts
• Closed ICU with in-house 24/7 ICU coverage for rapid responses and codes
• Primary medicine hospitalist service along with post-op surgical co-management
• Annual shift requirement: 183 shifts (12 hours)
• Early to mid-career candidates are encouraged to apply for available positions
• Graduate from an accredited medical school
• Graduate from an accredited IM or FM residency program
• Active or eligible for California medical license
• Demonstrate expertise in communication and ability to work well in a team environment with PCPs, specialists, ancillary hospital staff, along with patients and families.
• Compensation is between $270,322 and $361,204 per year
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer.
