Job Description:
The OR RN is responsible for assisting surgeons in the OR.
Operating Room RNs will prep the operating room and the patient for
surgery and make certain that all equipment is clean and operating
properly.ResponsibilitiesOperating Room Registered Nurse
responsibilities consist of:
Analyzing the well being of the patient before, during and after
the operation.
Predict the needs of the surgeons and provide instruments and
medical supplies to them during procedures.
Preserving and logging the items needed for lab examinations.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an Operating Room Registered
Nurse within the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Current BLS through American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
