We are united by our mission to improve life and health outcomes towards aspirational vitality, but we practice our crafts in a discipline orientation that allows us to perfect, excel, and stay current; we then bring our gifts together in an impressive expression of teamwork.OverviewThe Head of Health Plan Customer Digital Product Strategy (Product Strategy Director) is a new position and overall digital lead for the digital customer product strategy across myCigna, our cornerstone digital experience. - This role will have overall accountability for the end-to-end customer experience on the health plan as it relates to our web and mobile app.This role will lead multiple teams all in support of creating a best-in-class digital experience for our customers across the mobile app and web. - This individual will lead our mobile center of excellence, our customer engagement and omni-channel product strategy teams. - Several of the teams under this leader support other parts of the digital ecosystem.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOverall accountability for the customer experience end-to-end, works to define the strategy and collaborates with other teams within digital to integrate and leverage experiences to support the customerOwns our web and mobile experiences for customer in partnership with other property owners / experience owners defines new and innovative experiencesIs a student of the industry and other like and dissimilar industries, driving a high level of innovative thinking and product development mindsetCrafts long-term vision, builds necessary internal alignment across digital leadership team -Oversees several cross-functional teams responsible for specific parts of the customer digital experiencePartner with leadership to create and drive strategic initiatives and ensure proper prioritization and executionLead and mentor a group of highly-skilled and high-producing product development and management associatesCollaborate with cross-functional and Enterprise-oriented teams across portfolio, strategic enablers and key stakeholdersBuild, develop and retain a diverse team that raises the bar for talent across the digital and analytics teamBuild the work environment of the future, one that is built upon principles of a see-and-been-seen culture of inclusion, celebrating the unique and wonderful perspectives and contributions of all people, and fosters a supportive and progressive work environment of the future, emphasizing the necessity of flexibility, meeting the needs of people where they are, and fostering the right combination of space and time to allow people the environment they need to do the best work of their lives.Role-model responsible for articulating a compelling point of view and influencing the decisions of leaders across the enterprise, focused on an enterprise mindsetDrives alignment and collaborates across the digital team and with stakeholders across the enterpriseNavigates complex stakeholder management ensuring that we are sharing out and learning about business prioritiesDrives the usage of data and analytics to seek out opportunities to make health care and the digital experience and deliver strategic business valueQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree or military experience requiredMinimum 8-10 years' industry experienceExperience in healthcare, health services, employer based insurance and/or consulting as well as digital and analytics strongly preferred. Strong track record of business actions taken or health outcomes achieved through the use of analyticsExperience in product leadership roles and digital transformation necessaryDemonstrated results in being able to think strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends, and incorporate them into both a short-term and long-term strategic planCombination of analytical, technical and business acumenProven track record of exceeding goals; evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgmentProven track record for success in leading high-performing agile teams in a matrixed environmentBlend creativity, relentless problem-solving, business acumen, and leadership to drive innovationStrong verbal/written communication and leadership skills to work with various matrix partnersEffective leadership, prioritization, and management of complex program / portfolio in a dynamic environmentFact-based problem solver with the ability to evaluate alternative courses of action and make sound management decisionsExperience with technology initiatives, with a high degree of complexityDemonstrates ability to lead, influence and problem-solve across Technology and business leadersStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrategic acumenAble to manage multiple priorities and deal with ambiguityFor this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $148,800 - $248,000, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.Helping our customers achieve healthier, more secure lives is at the heart of what we do.
