Job Type: Regular Research Project Manager, Homeland Security
Research Division (HSRD) RAND is currently seeking a Research
Project Manager to provide high-level support to HSRD's Disaster
Management & Resilience (DMR) Program and ProjectsThe Project
Manager would manage the program's project tracker and QA
facilitations as well as moderate to large projects within the
programResponsibilities may include:--- Track deliverables
throughout the QA/Publications process.
* Maintain and update the program's project tracker to provide
real-time information on the status of projects.
* Develop and manage program and project schedules, ensuring
timelines are met, and project leadership and staff are on
schedule.
* Provide project updates on a consistent basis to program
leadership about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
* Facilitate communication between sponsors, program and project
leadership, and project staff.
* Navigate security, clearance, and disclosure challenges, ensuring
confidential and sensitive information is safeguarded, following
proper protocols in accessing and/or sharingQualifications This
position requires excellent analytic and problem-solving skills;
the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and
in writing; the ability to work effectively as a member of a
multi-disciplinary team; and a strong commitment to RAND's core
values of quality and objectivityThis position also requires:---

years minimum experience; 6 years preferredClearance The ability to
obtain a DHS Fitness clearance; active DHS Fitness clearance
preferredSalary Range Project Manager I $73,700-$109,400 Project
Manager II $85,700-$127,500 Project Manager III $100,100-152,400
