Our core content is consistently ranked as the most highly engaged across Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube where over 100 million followers engage with our brands. -Wave Sports + Entertainment is seeking a video producer / editor with social media experience to create short-form videos for distribution for a tennis media brand on Snapchat & TikTok. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create for our audience of millions of sports fans and help define our creative direction. We're looking for people who love sports, know how to tell a great story, and can entertain a social media audience. This is a collaborative position with our team where you will have a hand in crafting each story and how to visually tell them. This ideal candidate will have a track record of sourcing content, creating short-form and long-form videos, growing a social community, and the ability to collaborate well with others. -Core Responsibilities

• Produce and edit short-form tennis content for a weekly Snap Discover show and a TikTok account
• Meet deadlines and publish videos on these platforms
• Manage and prioritize video projects autonomously, using time and resources efficiently
• Communicate and collaborate with a team of social-savvy producers, video editors, and graphic designers
• Source viral and unique content from our tennis partner's video archive
• Identify trends and engaging storylines and video clips to write and produce
• Edit in a fast-paced environment that is reactive to sports, lifestyle, and culture
• Leverage knowledge of sports and social media landscapes to maximize content engagement and exposure
• Assist creative strategy on assigned social channels, using analytics to inform and optimize our content
• Be yourself. We want to be new and fresh every day, and have fun doing it
• Other duties as assigned -Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional video editing and producing experience
  • Highly skilled in video editing via Adobe Premiere and Photoshop
  • Able to effectively source content from all social media platforms
  • Ideate, script, and produce original videos based on amateur culture
  • Knowledgeable about current tennis culture, news, and storylines
  • Experience creating engaging social media video content across Snap -or other social media platforms
  • Excellent digital media file management
  • Strong sense of social media style and trends geared toward a younger Millennial/Gen Z audience
  • Able to work full-time M-F, including an occasional weekend and optionally out of our Santa Monica office
  • Experience in fast-paced, tight deadline, production teamwork environment
  • Previous experience working in startups preferred
  • A passion for sports and digital/social media -Physical Requirements
    • Capacity to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machine, and computer/printer
    • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
    • Work is sedentary and involves sitting most of the time -Work Environment
      • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and work is performed in a business office environment
      • The worker may be exposed to variable lighting conditions (brightness or darkness) and noise during production when in the office
