Job Description:

HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional for the interim role of Manager, Emergency Department, at a 250+ bed hospital in California. Responsibilities include:

• 
  
• 24-hour accountability for the Emergency Department,
  
• directing and evaluating patient care activities and demonstrating clinical expertise in all areas of a busy Emergency Department, and
  
• leading and motivating nursing professionals to develop their practice, knowledge and skills while collaborating and coordinating with other members of the health care team to ensure quality patient care.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
    
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of progressive leadership experience combined with 3+ years in Emergency Services; union experience preferred
    
  • License: California RN license required
    
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required, and additional pertinent certifications (TNCC) preferred
    
  • Computer Skills: EMR (EPIC) and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred
    
    All expenses are covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, transportation, and trips home during the assignment.
