Job Description:
Beautycounter is a mission-led beauty brand with a strong focus
on direct selling and retail partnerships. We are seeking a highly
motivated and experienced Director of Retail Marketing to lead our
retail marketing efforts and drive growth for the brand. The ideal
candidate will be passionate about the beauty industry and have a
proven track record of success in driving sales and brand awareness
through retail & field marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute retail marketing strategies to drive sales,
customer engagement, and brand awareness across all retail
channels, including brick-and-mortar, online, and direct
sales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales,
product development, and creative, to develop and execute retail
marketing campaigns and programs.
- Build strong relationships with key retail partners, leveraging
their support and resources to maximize impact and
results.
- Develop and manage retail marketing budgets, including
planning, tracking, and reporting on all shopper marketing
spend.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market insights, using
this information to inform retail marketing strategies and
initiatives.
- Collaborate with key functions, including commercial & brand to
develop and execute long-term retail marketing plans that support
the brand's overall growth and mission.
- Develop and execute shopper marketing Omnichannel strategies &
activations.
- Partner with media agencies and retailers to identify and
execute media opportunities, maximizing reach and impact.
- Lead the development and execution of media plans, ensuring
that all shopper marketing initiatives are supported by effective -
high ROI- media campaigns.
- Analyze shopper behavior and marketing effectiveness to make
data-driven decisions and optimize shopper marketing strategies and
media plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related
field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in retail marketing, with a
proven track record of success in driving sales and brand
awareness.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of
retail marketing professionals.
- Strong knowledge of the beauty industry and retail landscape,
including a deep understanding of consumer behavior and
trends.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to build
strong partnerships with key retail partners and internal
stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with
cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective retail
marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of shopper marketing and media planning,
with the ability to develop and execute effective shopper marketing
strategies and media plans.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive
results.
Pay: $132k - $208k for work locations in the United States, with
individual pay determined by several factors including, but not
limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, and
training. Salary ranges are determined in good faith by role,
level, and location. As a remote-eligible job, a narrower salary
range for a candidate's preferred location may be available.
