MissionAsthe Senior Manager,Learning& Development,you will play a
pivotal role in accelerating the growth of our workforce and
business across Activision, Blizzard and King. Your role will be
focused on developing business partnerships with senior leaders
across multiple studios, lines of business and teams. Focusing
specifically on critical performance consulting to align key
learning and development needs to business strategies. Partnering
with our center-led learning and development team, you will
activate global learning and development programs locally within
your business units, sometimes facilitating or running programming
yourself. Examples may include, executive leadership and manager
development programs, career development workshops, upskilling &
reskilling skill development and/or coaching.You'llwork closelywith
company, studio, and business unit executives, leaders and subject
matter experts, in addition to industry-leading external partners,
toadapt globally aligned curriculum to meet the local needs of each
of your supported business clients. You will also be responsible
for building andmaintainingrelationships with targetedpartner
groups across multiple brands and studios, partnering or
representing them in the full training development lifecycle
(ADDIE).You will partner with peers across our Performance
Management and Talent ecosystem to create an integrated approach to
HR processes and initiatives within the business on a year-to-year
rhythm. We are looking for the right person to be an integral part
in the creation of this team and help to drive the long-term career
success of employees at all levels across our company. This role is
anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site
and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is
Santa Monica, .ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnership:
- Align to the needs and scale of multiple employee populations,
including our game development studios, engineering teams and
supporting business teams across Activision, Blizzard and King
globally.
- Build relationships across multiple employee populations,
including executive and C-level leadership within designated
business teams.
- In collaboration with the Head of Learning and Development,
establish yourself as the key point of contact for training across
your designated business teams, HR partners and executive
leaders.
- Perform regular learning & performance needs analysis across
designated employee populations focused specifically on aligning
future skill needs to current programming.
- Work closely with internal partners(i.e.,talent teams, people
analytics, tech teams, etc.) todeliver meaningful, cross-functional
training across theenterprise.Vendor Management
- Identify and secure Learning and Development vendor partners
responsible for delivering programs, as well asmonitorpartner
performance and attainment of contracted goals and outcomes in
alignment with business team needs.
- In partnership with selected vendors, design learning and
development programming, in addition toleadingthe customization of
blended learning options to support independent,classroom, and
team-based instruction.
- Partner with center-led internal learning and development
team.Learning Program Facilitation/Coaching:
- Serve as the primary facilitator for development programming
including manager/leadership training, onboarding, team
communication sessions, career development/feedback workshops,
etc.
- Ability to lead and participate in train-the-trainer activities
as the primary program facilitator.
- Willingness to become certified in and train populations at
scale in industry recognized leadership programming (Examples
include DISC, Strength Finder, Crucial Conversations,
etc.)Learningand Development Measurement:
- Complete measurement targets forstrategicprioritiesand
initiatives thatsupportimmediate and long-term business
objectivesof teams across designated business teams.
- Partner across the learning and development team to develop a
measurement strategythat measures thevalueof all content within our
business teams.
- Direct program effectiveness by completing activation
strategies to gauge participant's performance during key learning
program, while also identifying (and improving) program
inconsistencies and deficiencies.
- Establish tracking and measurement approach, and govern
progress to report status to business unit leaders.
- When necessary, complete executive updates and program report
outs of learning & development health within designated business
teams.
- Create annual reports summarizing impact and progress, as well
as recommend solutionsto improve efficiency, cost
effectiveness,potentiallearning gaps andanticipatedneeds.Success

- Develop the activation plan for and scale Manager/Leadership
development programming customized to the specific business teams
you support.
- Cultivate strong relationships across designated business units
and teams; becoming the key point of contact for learning &
development consulting, solutioning and deployment
- Conduct a business unit wide training needs analysis focused on
identifying long-term learning and development needs within
designated business teams.
- Activate core learning and development programming including
onboarding, goal setting and year-end conversations, addressing
peripheral leadership/learning needs as necessary.Qualifications /
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 5+yearsprofessional experience incorporateLearning and
Development
- Proven expertise in scaling global learning and development
programming; especially in a corporate learning and development
environment.
- Knowledge of upskilling and reskilling vendors and external
partners.
- Demonstrated experience presenting to executives and gaining
alignmentamong multiplepartnersonenterprise-wide initiatives.
- Proven learning facilitation skills; especially in manager or
leadership development.
- Expert in adult learning modalities and learning
experience.
- Strong project/program management, with the demonstrated
ability to manage multiple, complex and global programs, including
project implementation, partner management, and budget
management.
- Experience owning program strategy andpresentingresults to
senior leadership
- Consistenttrack record of using data to measure learning
effectiveness, identify insights, and make
updates/improvements.
- Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced work
environmentwhilecompletingmultiplepriorities.
- A bias toward action and creative problem solving in a
fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across
organizational boundaries.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (i.e.,PowerPoint,Word,
Excel)
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
and/or Learning Experience Platforms.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's(preferred)in

standard base pay range for this role is $105,120.00 - $194,400.00
Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable
to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending
on experience, performance and location. In addition to a
competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for
incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not
guaranteed.
