You will beresponsiblefor helping to grow the firm's presence as a premier provider of investmentservicesto the financial intermediary market, including banks, broker-dealers, insurance companies, retirement plan providers, recordkeepers, RIAs, asset managers and others. Primaryserviceofferings include asset allocation advice, discretionary model portfoliomanagement, manager research outsourcing, retirement fiduciaryservicesand alternative investmentsolutions. There will be extensiveinteractionwith prospects, clients, and cross-functional Wilshire teams. Specific expertise anddirectrelationshipsin the financial intermediary space is preferred.
What you'll do:


  • Developandimplementa salesstrategyfor assigned territory
  • Full cycle sales and delivery of agreed upon revenue and other sales metrics
  • Buildand maintain anactivepipeline of viable prospects
  • Record and report pipeline progress using Salesforce
  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc status calls
  • Identify opportunities to sell other Wilshire products andsolutions
  • Work with teams across Wilshire todevelopefficient cross-selling opportunities
  • Proactivelyshareexperiences, best practices and suggestions for improvement
  • Attend industry conferences, asneeded
  • Connectwith prospects virtually
  • Travel asneededto growrelationshipsand revenue

    What you have:

    • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred
    • Minimum 5yearsof investmentmanagementor financialservicessales experience
    • Demonstratedunderstandingof the institutional investment marketplace
    • Demonstratedsuccessinsolutionsales, preferably within the financial intermediary marketplace
    • Experience managing a sales plan and pipeline
    • Track record ofsuccessin articulating a strongvalueproposition and a consultative sales model
    • Demonstratedability to identify and pursue new businessleads
    • Experience with Salesforce CRM

      Required Certifications/Licenses:
      Active and valid FINRA licenses that allow for the sale of private securities. If you are not currently licensed, you will have a condition of employment to obtain relevant licenses.
