Director of Robotics---Series A Sustainable Drone Company ---Los Angeles $200,000 + Equity + Benefits

This is an opportunity for a Director to join a fast-paced growing start-up who are working on sustainability projects through the power of autonomous drones. They were profitable in 2021 and are now using this to scale up the company.
In this role, you will be responsible for growing out the engineering team, going on different sustainability projects and working to help launch their products into new markets.
Responsibilities:

• Tightly coordinating between vision and timeline to unlock vision for long-range autonomy
• be on call to fill in engineering design gaps through mentoring or hands-on contributions across the entire tech-stack
• variety of disciplines from flight hardware, control software, electrical board layout, and industrial design.
• Experience and well balanced opinions on project management structure will be expected
  Requirements:
  • B.S. or higher (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred) in one of systems engineers, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering
  • Minimum five years of product management experience (seven or more preferred) with preference to small team / startup environments
  • Proven leadership, team management, oral & written communication skills
  • Prior experience designing, building, and troubleshooting electrical / mechanical systems
