Sponsorship & Exhibits Sales Manager - Santa Monica, California GNA, the nation's leading clean transportation and energy consulting firm, is seeking a Sponsorship Exhibit Sales Manager, with a background in the transportation and/or clean energy sector, or a related field, to join our growing team based in our Santa Monica office. More information about GNA can be found at In this Sponsorship & Exhibits Sales Manager role, you will be responsible for managing sales efforts for our conference & events where you will work side-by-side with team members that are collaborative, inquisitive, and dedicated to quality. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Events. Your Responsibilities Include: ---Sell exhibit space and sponsorship inventory for ACT Expo ( and other annual conferences and expositions ---Manage exhibit and sponsorship sales including prospecting, sales, negotiation, proposal development, contracting, collections, sponsor fulfilment, servicing, and relationship management ---Serves as the primary contact for vendors, including partners, sponsors, and exhibitors ---Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key sponsors and exhibitors ---Build sales pipelines, prospecting, and moving opportunities through the sales cycle ---Renew previous sponsors/exhibitors with strong focus on prospecting new market sectors currently not served ---Pre-show, on-site, and post-show operations and production responsibilities ---Other duties as assigned Qualifications: First and foremost, we are looking for a team member that is passionate about making the world a better place, and who has a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. We require at least two years of B2B sales experience - Previous trade show/conference sponsorship, exhibit space, and advertising sectors is a plus. Strong research, prospecting, and communication skills, selling, and the ability to juggle multiple event sales campaigns will be crucial to excelling in this role. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and appropriately assertive, with the ability to self-manage to meet revenue objectives in a fast-paced department. Additional requirements include ---Experience in effective prospecting, follow-up, and negotiation skills ---Excellent written and verbal communication skills ---Excellent time management skills and ability to execute multiple projects concurrently ---Experience working in the trade show/conference/advertising sectors ---Ability to work as part of a team while achieving individual goals ---Ability to manage multiple tasks, independently, and meet required deadlines Compensation & Benefits: This full-time, staff position offers an annual salary, commission opportunities, as well as a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance on the first day of the month after hire.
