About the role

This role is requiring a highly motivated problem solver, who can effectively articulate business cases based on operational and analytical data. As part of this highly skilled team, you will be responsible for managing the technical relationship with Roku's advertising business' publisher relationships. The Technical Account Manager's primary responsibility is to maintain operational excellence from integration through the lifecycle of the publisher, working closely with the publisher development team and product.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor and define metrics to evaluate health of our integrations with Publishers working within the Roku ecosystem. Usage of facts and data to drive decisions and insight
  • Frame technical matters into business opportunities or challenges, adapting your message to the technical level of the audience
  • Build and grow trusting relationships with external counterparts.
  • Troubleshoot issues arising from publisher integrations by working cross functionally with other teams in the company, including more senior team members
  • Identify areas for product improvement, and presenting those in a cogent way to the Product team
  • Collaborate with the Publisher Development team to drive strong programmer/publisher relationships.
    We're excited if you have
    • 3+ years of client-facing experience in programmatic Advertising/Header bidding Technologies in a Technical Solutions Engineer role or equivalent
    • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing to different audiences such as product and sales
    • Comprehension and experience in trafficking digital video and other formats, including VAST and VPAID
    • SQL and Excel proficiency. Python, JSON/XML are a strong plus
    • Experience in app/ SDK coding and troubleshooting
    • Organized, time efficient, and strong documentation processes.
    • Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting front-end issues and network requests
    • Experience with a video ad server (Freewheel, DoubleClick for Video, etc.)
    • Experience on an OTT platform a strong plus
    • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
