About the Position
The Research department at the Milken Institute is seeking
exceptional candidates in international finance or international
macroeconomics at the economist level. Qualified candidates will
have excellent oral and written communication skills and a Ph.D. in
Economics with a solid background in data analysis in international
finance, macroeconomics, and advanced knowledge of statistical
programming skills (R, Stata, etc.). Working knowledge of machine
learning techniques or big data analytics would be a plus.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively to conduct applied
research on issues pertinent at the international, national, and
regional levels. The ability to communicate complex, technical
concepts concisely and clearly to an audience with various
backgrounds and levels of experience is essential.
