ROLE OVERVIEW

The H&N Associate Marketing Manager will primarily be responsible for assisting in managing the sinus and skull base downstream marketing strategies and tactical initiatives supporting the goals of our division. They will be supporting projects as part of collaborations with business partners in our global marketing/product management groups, marketing communications, medical affairs, regulatory, revenue operations, cross-specialty marketing groups, technical services and our training and sales enablement group. The proven ability to communicate, organize and manage project activities is crucial; so is the effective communication with variety of customers to include surgeons, nurses, biomed and administration

Our ideal teammate has a solid understanding of marketing concepts, medical devices, and the healthcare market and an interest and/or expertise in medical imaging technology.

This position is based in El Segundo, CA . The individual will work in our El Segundo office with the option for remote work (based on company guidelines).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Portfolio management from product launch to end of service
  • Strategic positioning and development of marketing / selling tools
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders and establish relationships with new thought leaders - says the same as the above but is not as dry
  • Digital marketing campaign design and brand penetration development in collaboration with our marketing communications and global marketing team
  • Design / conduct sales training workshops in collaboration with our training & sales enablement group
  • Market research and monitor competitive landscape
  • Business analysis
  • Present to customer groups and/or KARL STORZ employees at customer sites or KARL STORZ facilities
  • Will provide sales support by answering and/or resolving customer questions and /or issues on assigned products via telephone, e-mail and in person
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Appreciation and flexibility to work with our associated imaging technology and represent these products if relevant during conventions.
  • Domestic travel up to 35% annually including KOL visits, Operating Room attendance, conventions, wet lab attendance and working with sales representatives in the field. During the pandemic, they will work remotely, and all travel will be determined on a case-by-case basis always putting safety first


    REQUIREMENTS
    • Bachelor's Degree required with a strong business acumen - MBA preferred
    • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in the medical device marketing industry
    • Interpersonal and communication skills to converse effectively at various management levels and distribution channels such as surgical, value analysis professionals, sub-acute care
    • Effective presentation skills
    • Self-motivated, driven goal getter who understands that more is achieved with teams in a diverse environment
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timeline
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Application
