If this sounds like your dream job, then we have the perfect opportunity and want to hear from you!What Will I Be Doing?Maintain sustainable dealership production levels as defined by the General Manager and Senior LeadershipActively participate in the recruitment of high-performing individuals by owning the entirety of the recruiting process as a hiring managerCreate and execute an action plan to effectively manage the sales teamIdentify coaching needs and promote training opportunitiesHire, mentor and monitor the performance of the sales teamSet an example of professionalism through actions and appearanceMaintain superior customer service (CSI) through dealership cultureEnsure target revenues are met or exceededResponsible for profitability in both the new and used vehicle departmentsWork closely with sales team on enforcement of proper selling methodsSet objectives for achieving sales and gross profitsManage new and pre-owned cars inventoryAssist the General Manager in developing an advertising / marketing planPlan, implement and measure promotionsResponsible for developing a productive relationship throughout the various dealership departments - F&I, accounting, pre-owned, service, and partsBe the biggest promoter of CSI throughout the dealershipDevelop high performing and capable sales team members into future roles in the organization through job growth, training, development and performanceProvide guidance, support and motivation to ensure employees are maximizing their ability and growth potentialMaintain a positive and ethical working relationship with all employees, manufacturers, lenders, vendors and customersContinue to maintain our dealership's value, quality, and integrityAnalyze information and evaluate alternatives in an effort to resolve issues and make sound, timely decisions.Performs efficiently with the normal amount of direction for the position; displays the professional attitude and capabilities of a self-starter.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual should possess:Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required; college degree preferredAt least three (3) years of sales management experienceProven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goalsExcellent customer service, organizational and negotiation/closing skillsSelf-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environmentStrong written and communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)Experience and familiarity with various Automotive systemsConsistent and stable work historyProfessional appearance and work ethicAbility to apply a common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.Have and maintain an excellent driving record.All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screenPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
