TITLE: VP, FP&A
REPORTS TO: SVP, Finance As VP, FP&A, you will be responsible for building and leading TigerConnect's FP&A function. This is a vital part of our fast-growing organization that is on a mission to radically transform healthcare communications and patient outcomes. You will own our budgeting and planning processes, find new and unique insights that will help the business make better decisions and better forecast results, and track our performance over time to reinforce our cultural values of "own it" and "be curious". This position is designed to push the company forward into its next phase of growth. This is a key financial role in our high growth vertical SaaS company that will be a right-hand person to our SVP, Finance, and play a key role in business operations and strategy. What You'll Own:

  • Promote alignment and accountability across the company by defining and measuring financial and operational results against key performance indicators
  • Manage the rolling budget and forecast process, partnering with the SVP, Finance, and functional leaders to deliver on financial and operational targets and continually improve our ability to predict where the business is going
  • Prepare financial analysis and presentations for the senior leadership team and the Board of Directors
  • Develop fresh insights and more visual displays of financial and operational KPIs, metrics, trends and propose solutions to improve results
  • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive greater efficiencies
  • Partner with leadership to assess return on investment for capital requests and product development initiatives
  • Analyze cohort data, customer acquisition costs, pipeline creation, and other relevant operational metrics in partnership with the Sales, Marketing, and Client Orgs. to help us build an operationally excellent organization and improve margin
  • Provide analytical / decision support (ROI, benchmarking, etc.) on key company decisions (partnerships, key customer contracts, M&A activities, etc.)
  • Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Work on special projects and provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis
  • Benchmark company performance against relevant peer groups
  • Coach, develop, and manage the FP&A team What You Bring to the Table:--
    • 10+ years of relevant analytical and management experience in Tech / SaaS Product Finance, FP&A, or technology investing (VC/PE/fund)
    • BA in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, and an MBA, CFA, management consulting, or investment banking experience
    • Experience in a public company B2B SaaS FP&A department
    • Leadership and the ability to set a vision for the FP&A department
    • Firm understanding of SaaS business models and economics gained from experience working in B2B SaaS
    • Experience implementing and enhancing financial planning processes in a growing organization
    • Exceptional analytical skills coupled with a solid understanding of business dynamics
    • Proven track record of delivering on commitments, developing great teams, and working closely & effectively with peers outside of the Finance group
    • Solid understanding and demonstrated experience managing strategic and operational planning activities
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally and with Senior Management
