This role is responsible for Contract Management, Analysis, and
Administration for the Technology category which includes Hardware,
Software, Technical Services, Networks & Telecom subcategories
across Enterprise (Corporate), Digital (Content) and Openfit
technology groups as well as their end users which encompass all
functions throughout the company.
Key job responsibilities include contract evaluation, negotiation
and execution, contract management and administration, reporting
and relationship management across a diverse client stakeholder,
supplier, and internal team base.
Technology Contract Management is a new function at Beachbody and
this is an exciting opportunity to become a founding member of our
team at this early development stage. This senior role is hands on
with direct involvement in the day to day business operations with
an eye toward business process optimization and system
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contract Evaluation, Negotiation & Execution:
Support management of the life cycle of complex contracts, from
creation to closure, through the coordination of the resources and
processes necessary for the control of business and other risks in
partnership with Technology Business Owners, Legal, Finance,
Security, and, where applicable, Strategic Sourcing.
Support creation of contracts by gathering and vetting required
inputs including but not limited to business terms from business
and functional owners.
Support contract negotiations between business owners and 3rd party
suppliers. Ensure timely review and detailed tracking/ approval of
Vet, organize, prioritize, and package contracts, calling out
recommendations to Legal and where applicable, Strategic Sourcing,
to craft a final contract that is satisfactory to all parties.
Contract Management & Administration:
Monitor a shared mailbox and route and/or execute contract related
requests. Perform/ support contract analysis/ administration as
Support departmental contract status/ tracking meetings with
Support preparation of proactive reminders to support Business
Owner and other responsible parties of the need to perform contract
activities and fulfillment of contractual obligations throughout
the contract term. Contract activities include but are not limited
to the following: audits, certifications, quarterly business
reviews, service level agreement performance reporting, notices of
termination, renewal and others, strategic sourcing activity such
as price benchmark and request for proposal preparation.
Reporting: Track, generate & update reports including but not
limited to Contract Management in Excel or relational databases/
other Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, Cost Savings,
Category Planning, Status Updates, Spend Analysis.
Relationship Management: Supports development and maintenance of
positive working relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
Maintains the same with colleagues and direct reports if
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year accredited college or
university in a related field
Master's Degree (MA/MS) preferred
Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) preferred
Highly Skilled Level - 5 to 7 years of relevant and related
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Functional Experience
- Contract Management and/or Legal Experience Required (3+
- Procurement experience is preferred.
- Category Experience
- Technology category experience is required (3+ years).
- Industry Experience
- Fitness/Nutrition industry experience not required or
- Regional Experience
- Global experience is not required or preferred.
- Legal, Business, Engineering, Computer Science or other
technical/quantitative discipline required.
- JD Preferred.
- NCMA-CPCM, CFCM, CCCM or similar welcomed but not
- MS Office: expert level proficiency required (Outlook, Word,
- ERP: welcomed but not required.
- Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM): experience
- Core Competencies
- Time Management/Planning & Organization, Problem Solving,
Results Orientation, Collaboration & Transparency, Business &
- Consulting, Strategy/ Strategic Planning experience welcomed
but not required.
