Materials Management Manager (Level K) Company: The Boeing
Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting
opportunity for a Materials Management Manager (Level K) to join
our dynamic team in El Segundo, CA. Position Responsibilities:
Manages Production Control, Compliance, Common Systems functions,
Staff and Activities. Manages employees analyzing supply chain
material requirements, developing and optimizing inventory planning
and synchronizing supply chain demands. Works closely with other
Materials Mgmt. & Supply Chain functions Develops and executes
project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and
sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and
processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads
process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and
partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and
direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical
approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates
employees This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected
candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed
location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position
requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope
Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or
requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5 or more years
of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications
(Word, Excel and PowerPoint) More than 5 years of experience in
Supply Chain or Materials Management. More than 1 year of
experience in management or leading a team. Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or
higher APICS certification. More than 3 years of experience with
Production Operations or Production Control. Experience working
with Compass CONTRACT, IBI, MESci. Typical Education/Experience:
Typically, 5 or more years’ related work experience or relevant
military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.)
preferred, but not required. Relocation: Relocation assistance is

the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Travel:
Position may require travel up to 25% of the time. Drug Free

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well
as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $114,750
