specialized support for a homebound student who is deaf or hard of
hearing, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful
impact in the educational journey of a young learner. The position
is based in Irvine, California, and involves working closely with
the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) DHH Program
Teacher to tailor curriculum and assignments that meet the
student's individual needs. Responsibilities include delivering
three hours of daily home instruction, Monday through Friday, for
the duration of the contract from April 6th to June 5th. The
instructor will collaborate with the students parent and an ASL
interpreter, both present during sessions, ensuring effective
communication and support. Key qualifications and experience
desired: Experience teaching or tutoring students with
disabilities, particularly those who are deaf or hard of hearing
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
with families and educational professionals Special Education
certification is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of
curriculum adaptation and individualized instruction strategies
Location: Irvine, California (home instruction at one
location)Schedule: 15 hours per week (3 hours daily, Monday through
Friday)Contract duration: April 6th to June 5th This role provides

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $35.52.
