As Marketing Manager with a B2B focus, you'll be part of a collaborative global team that is building the fastest-growing, most-exciting live event technology company on the planet. As one of Tixr's earliest marketing hires, you'll report directly to the Vice President of Marketing as the chief architect of our product launch plans, integrated marketing communications, and materials. You'll serve as the hub between Product, Sales, and Client Success functions, building our go-to-market function and promoting our product and its benefits to our audiences across verticals: music, sports, experiential, and more.

While this is a hybrid role, we'll want you in the office as much as you can, especially in the early days, so you can establish relationships and get the answers you need efficiently. This is a highly-collaborative, exciting position that will make a huge impact on our trajectory as a company.

What you'll own:

  • Messaging, positioning, and content creation that articulates our unique value and benefits across products, services, verticals
  • Go-to-market planning and execution for major product launches and ongoing release communications
  • Building robust content initiatives to build interest, credibility, and the overall brand
  • Dreaming up and driving integrated marketing plans and programs throughout the funnel to build credibility in the brand, lubricate the sales process, and keep clients engaged
  • Developing key buyer personas across verticals with differentiated messaging, battle cards, and materials throughout the funnel
  • Contributing to our blog and optimizing our website content to improve SEO
  • Deeply understanding our competitors, researching demand, and identifying new and exciting opportunities
  • Producing effective, beautiful sales and client enablement materials such as pitch decks, one-pagers, success stories, blog posts, and best practices guides
  • Informing our field marketing strategy, conference/tradeshow presence, and event execution
  • Establish, track and maintain KPIs on marketing activities and their impact

    Who you are:
    • 6+ years experience in product marketing, content marketing, or brand marketing at a live events technology, media, or internet company
    • Passionate about the live event industry, whether it be music festivals, themed attractions, sporting events, artist tours, or nightlife
    • A marketing universalist who can pinch-hit and take on new challenges wearing lots of hats
    • An expert verbal and written communicator with a knack for writing pithy, memorable, professional copy and influencing across functions
    • A storyteller at heart with a strong portfolio of writing samples
    • Thrives in a high-growth environment without a ton of structure, where change is the norm
    • A brand stalwart with a discerning eye for detail. Enjoys building relationships and working with a close-knit team.
    • Proactive, highly organized, and willing to step up when duty calls. Nothing's beneath you.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and people/agencies simultaneously with little or no supervisionCollaborative and open to feedback
    • Working knowledge of business software tools and marketing/design technology: Slack, G-Suite, Notion, Figma, CRM (Copper/Hubspot), MailChimp, Google Analytics, among others

      Compensation & Benefits:
      • Salary range $80,000-$120,000 + bonus + equity
