This position is an exciting opportunity to learn and expand upon your existing written and verbal communications skills to take complex information and distill it down into concise and effective content to help advance the market.Through your work, you will support large-scale strategic communications campaigns for a variety of projects and clients spanning the full spectrum of the clean energy and transportation industries.The ideal candidate for this role must be organized, creative, and have excellent written and analytical skills.This is an exciting opportunity to use your digital and email marketing expertise to support a range of initiatives that help protect our climate, improve air quality for communities, bolster the use of renewable energy, and create U.S. jobs.In this role, you will support the outreach for GNA's large-scale advanced transportation and energy conferences, including our flagship event, the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo. The Digital Marketing Specialist will also provide support on a GNA-owned industry news publication called ACT News, as well as an array of outreach campaigns for GNA's impressive roster of clean tech clients.RESPONSIBILITIESDigital Marketing Strategy: --- - - - - - - -Design multi-touch outreach campaigns for GNA's events, publication, and clients that utilize an array of strategies-email campaigns, social media, paid advertising, lead capture landing pages, partner marketing, and more. --- - - - - - - -Work with clients to develop user personas and buyers' journey maps to help shape robust outreach campaigns that produce sales qualified leads. -Email Marketing: --- - - - - - - -Lead email campaign development for GNA's events, publication, and clients, including developing content, coordinating design and development, and designing the campaign in Eloqua. --- - - - - - - -Strategically craft targeted segments for email campaigns in Eloqua based on firmographic data, online user behavior, event history, and other known user information.

  • Ensure quality control for all aspects of email communications including links, email and landing page content, subject lines and appropriate audience versioning and segmentation.
  • Evaluate opportunities to optimize email campaign metrics and drive effectiveness through various modes of testing, measurement, tracking and reporting.
  • Design multi-step automated lead generation campaigns that evaluate firmographic data, online user behavior and event history to categorize and qualify leads.Webinar Management & Website Maintenance:
    • Manage the logistics for educational webinars, including set up, speaker invitations, audience development, and reporting.
    • Develop multi-touch marketing campaigns to support webinar registrations, including email campaigns, social media (organic and paid), partner marketing, and other strategies.
    • Compile webinar registration reports, including refining/formatting attendee data.Social Media / Paid Advertising: --- - - - - - - -Manage organic and paid social media strategies for GNA events and projects across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms. --- - - - - - - -Develop organic and paid social media outreach strategies for GNA's clients, including developing recommended content, creating targeting strategies, setting up conversion tracking, and developing engagement/conversion reports. --- - - - - - - -Support clients with designing and launching paid ad campaigns on the Google Ad Network via the Feathr platform. -Administrative Support: --- - - - - - - -Create campaign engagement reports for ACT News advertisers, including webinar registration/attendance, article views, email sends/opens/clicks. --- - - - - - - -Track project tasks and deliverables using GNA's project management tool, Asana.Website Management & Search Engine Optimization --- - - - - - - -Maintain content for websites in WordPress with search engine optimization best practices.
      • Identify keywords and optimizing websites in strategic areas such as page title, meta data, headlines, alt tags, etc.
      • Determine search volume and relative competition/difficulty score as well as search trends.
      • Develop core and topical content suggestions provided based on keyword research.QUALIFICATIONS
        • Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, marketing, business, English, or public relations, strongly preferred.
        • 3 to 5 years of email marketing and digital strategy experience, preferably in a consultancy, agency or in-house digital/ecommerce environment.
        • Experience with email marketing tools, best practices and platforms, with 2+ year of experience using Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact or another email marketing tool.
        • 3 to 5 years developing organic and paid social media advertising strategies, including setting up campaign conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager.
        • 1+ year experience using Asana, or a comparable project management tool.
        • Strong writing, research and analytical skills.
        • Excellent teamwork, communication and time management skills.
        • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
        • Basic experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
        • Basic understanding of HTML, preferred experience with Dreamweaver and WordPress.
        • Experience and/or interest in the advanced transportation and clean energy industry.This full-time, staff position offers an annual salary, as well as a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance on the first day of the month after hire.
