The ideas are boss, able to be taken to the world in whatever way they work best via advertising, branding, social media, PR, experiential, digital and more.The Role: The Group Creative Director, Art, will be responsible for creating and inspiring work that is distinctive, effective, and truly remarkable across a major telecommunications brand. The GCD plays a critical role in elevating the output of the creative team on the account, specifically from a visual and experiential standpoint. The GCD will apply expert knowledge of the experiential space, artistry and strategic insight to create and bring to life consumer experiences that make an impact. As part of the leadership team, the GCD will be looked to for collaboration and guidance across agency disciplines. Collaborating across departments, the GCD's thought leadership will be relied upon both internally and externally, while acting as a trusted client partner to create exceptional work.You are a thinker and a maker. The opportunities here are endless, so your creativity must be too.Responsibilities:Lead across the client's portfolio of national sports, entertainment, and gaming partnerships continue to evolve and innovate through the development of award-worthy, industry-leading creative concepts.Take an 'always on' approach to oversee the development, presentation, and optimization of creative ideas that bring the client's partnerships to life across all platforms and channels year-round.Become a brand steward, intimately understanding the client's brand positioning, products, properties, tone of voice, and partnerships to intuitively and fluently speak their language.Inspirational leadership across the full creative team to ensure they function as a cohesive single entity delivering a shared creative vision.Work seamlessly with a GCD, Copywriter to function as a cohesive single entity delivering a shared creative vision.Play a leadership role across the account, working closely with with account strategy, partnerships, and experiential vertical leads to build insights-led creative territories, approaches, and concepts that achieve and exceed client objective and budget.Lead presentations to senior level client and/or agency executives.Build relationships with key client stakeholders.Collaborate with colleagues in other divisions across in the 160over90/Endeavor network as necessary to develop client programs.Education and Skills:A minimum of 12-15 years of agency, client, or property sponsorship, marketing, or advertising experience.Experience developing creative ideas that build around culturally relevant moments, or react to things happening in culture.Knowledge/experience working with a telecommunications/technology brand is ideal.Provide thought leadership, and direction that drives and delivers award winning and impactful work.Provide on-brand creative direction and orchestration throughout the life of a project.Build, manage and maintain a team that delivers on world class creative ideas and execution.Provide strong leadership with the ability to set and prioritize goals and be a coach and a player. Inspire, support, and encourage the Creative team through constructive feedback and frequent planned communications. Build and sustain effective working relationships internally and externally. Stay current with recent design and tech methodologies, trends, and techniques.Proactively search for and promote new best practices.Experience managing a creative team - performance management, reviews, employee development, etc..Takes a profound interest in the world around you - culture, music, film, sport, art, entertainment.Computer literacy with strong proficiency in all relevant programs including entire Adobe Creative Suite.Approachable, collaborative, results-oriented, problem-solver who can work with minimal direction, evaluating best practices and offering effective solutions.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - not afraid to have difficult discussions.Team building skills, proactively seeking opportunities to develop team members.Strong operational/project management experience.Excellent organizational, presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills.Lead brainstorming sessions, decks, client calls, and productions.Ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analysesOwn the ideation process and know the difference between a tactic and a big campaign platformExtremely skilled in developing high-level brand concepts as well as articulating those concepts in executions across various media channels Must be able to juggle several projects at one timeThrives in a collaborative environment160/90 is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
