build a brand and a team from scratch.The Capra Project is
currently seeking a VP, Creative Director for its new-media
platform. Our ideal candidate will not only be a great creative
leader but also a hands-on creative maker. They will have the
ability to jump into a piece of key art, perfect a script, oversee
an agency and build a best-in-class team.We require a highly
skilled individual who relishes the creative challenges and
opportunities of working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented startup
environment while also fitting in with our welcoming,
collaborative, and supportive team culture.You should be a
self-motivated and judicious creative thinker with a sharp eye for
design detail and storytelling with a demonstrated ability to take
a project across the finish line. Ideal candidate will have a
history of success and be able to point to award-winning campaign
executions.This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing
Officer.Responsibilities
- Develop innovative 360 - marketing experiences that tell
engaging stories, communicate benefits, and drive viewership of The
Capra Project's content offerings as well as deepen the affinity
for the brand.
- Craft high level creative strategies, briefs and presentation
decks that effectively sell holistic campaign to internal clients
and partners approaches that ladder to defined strategic
goals.
- Collaborate with various external partners from agency
leadership to freelancers and communicate a clear vision to ensure
a high level of creativity, innovation and brand association on
time and within budget.
- Anticipate resourcing needs and work with key stakeholders to
drive a schedule for projects while prioritizing and using
available resources effectively.
- Act as a brand steward, maintaining the integrity and
excellence of the brand in all creative assets and materials
developed for the Capra Project brand and platforms.
- Lead a growing team of creatives, designers, producers,
preditors, editors, and production assistants across multiple
initiatives that include branding, social, and marketing.
- Drive best practices across all creative including conceptual
thinking, art direction, video, design, writing and
production.
- Collaborate with other department leads to align on
monthly/quarterly priorities/deliverables.
- Respond to analytical data to quickly create compelling,
targeted marketing materials.Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the areas of
entertainment marketing and promotion, including a minimum of five
years of experience in a supervisory and/or Senior role
- Experience leading marketing/advertising campaigns from
developing the initial vision for brand's messaging to overseeing
creative production on time and budget
- Understanding-of, and past-experience with, creating integrated
content across all marketing channels from digital, social media,
paid media, mobile, but also understand offline and print
- Experience in developing, directing, executing and overseeing
any variety of video production shoots (i.e. live action, green
screen, interviews, press coverage)
- Proven experience with concept development
- Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent
- Strong creative vision with an understanding of business
objectives
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, strategize, meet deadlines,
make decisions, and change course of action quickly
- Outstanding communication skills, written and oral
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
with the ability to work on many projects simultaneously with
excellent follow through
- Understanding the business necessities of a startup/launch
property - experience defining and creating new systems or
