Your RoleThe Creative Strategist, Performance Marketing will lead the strategy for O Positiv's online advertising creative. We're looking for experts in paid digital advertising who know how to make social media ads that actually perform and convert. An ideal candidate is somebody who is versed in creative (watches ads, follows trends, idea hunter) and analytical (can read numbers and make data-driven decisions). The Creative Strategist will be the nexus of ad production for the entire company, facilitating great performing ads through leadership of both the media and creative teams.
The Creative Strategist, Performance Marketing reports to the SVP of Growth and Brand and will work cross-functionally within the organization to further expand marketing efforts and develop our product and brand.
Responsibilities and DutiesDesign the creative strategy using best practices and learnings

  • Understand what's working in current ads and why
  • Write briefs for new ideas, using simple scripts, doodles, storyboards, and/or wire frames when appropriate
  • Prioritize where ad accounts need help and which concepts to bring to concept soonest
  • Define a history of what has worked and what can be done to create next winning ads -
    Guide the advertising creative proccess
    • Ideate best concepts and encourage others to contribute winning ideas
    • Get briefs to the right people
    • Check in and manage projects as they move through the creative and media teams
    • Keep track of progress and make sure critical projects are completed on time
    • Prioritize when there are problems -
      Qualifications and SkillsExperience:
      • 3+ years of direct response DTC eCommerce advertising experience, preferably at an ad agency or brand
      • 3+ years experience in video advertising
      • Strong pre-production skills including scripting and planning
      • Interest in scaling the revenue of start ups for successful exit
      • Experience with data analysis (e.g. Excel)
      • Bachelor's Degree

        • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces
        • Strong time management and prioritization skills
        • Adaptable to new social platforms and advertising technologies
        • Thoughtful and self-reflective, willingness to learn

          Hours and CompensationJob Type: Full-timePay based on prior experienceThis is a full time role: this position will be in-person 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday, with Fridays being remoteOur office is based in Santa Monica, California
