Responsibilities The Growth Marketing & Merchandising team is
seeking an experienced strategic-thinker and hands on executional
expert who is skilled at solving multiple, competing, and complex
problems into simple cohesive strategies and plans that are
flawlessly executed. The ideal candidate sees value of creating
inclusive spaces when solving hard problems and will recognize
diverse perspectives. You are responsible for enabling successful
marketing campaigns and experiences for Roku by driving strategic
planning and portfolio management for all verticals withing Growth
Marketing & Merchandising, including AVOD, SVOD, Content Marketing,
International and Roku Originals. This is a highly cross-functional
role that partners closely with marketing leaders to ensure that
smart strategies are set, initiatives are rigorously prioritized,
concrete plans are developed, and that our teams are organized to
succeed. This role is integral in driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities Develop and align multiple business priorities
into cohesive marketing and merchandising campaign strategies and
plans Own annual and ad hoc plans, including building investment
cases for incremental asks and driving trade-off discussions Define
and track organization level goals and OKRs Communicate up, down,
and across the organization to ensure transparency, alignment, and
advocacy Identify opportunities to build and improve on strategic
marketing, planning, and operations processes to support the
Marketing organization, working with cross functional partners
Identify and structure emerging misalignments and develop solutions
(both within team and across organizations). Help remove
roadblocks, escalate misalignments, and ensure teams are set up for
successful execution Distill business insights from how we---re
managing resources across owned/paid media and headcount across the
team Work with cross-functional partners to enable informed
business decisions such as program and market prioritization and
resource allocation Design, operationalize, and manage processes
that enable the marketing team to move fast Lead organizational
operations such as talent planning, resourcing, and headcount
management, restructures, employee experience, and leadership
meetings Collaborate with partner organizations and
cross-functional teams on cross-organizational projects and
alignment opportunities, including best practice sharing, goaling,
and measurement Minimum Qualifications 10 years professional
Marketing Strategy, Planning and Operations experience within
entertainment industry or management consulting Demonstrated
capacity to communicate complex, large-scale concepts clearly and
simply. Experience developing break-through marketing strategies
and translate those strategies into actionable plans, processes and
cross functional execution. Strong relationship and consensus
building skills Ability to lead complex, cross-functional
initiatives under tight deadlines. Experience working in a
fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and embraces day-to-day
flex between strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Experience
balancing attention to detail with big-picture strategic thinking
