Our Team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ's relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client's needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential. Our growing client in the entertainment and technology industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position will play a key role in the department's strategic goal to enhance efficiency through process improvement. The Senior Accountant will be supporting the Director of Accounting and the Controller as well. Responsibilities

• Conduct general accounting support functions including processing various general ledger transactions and preparing reconciliations
• Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses
• Collect, maintain and analyze subsidiary data for various internal reports
• Review and approve employee expense reimbursements and per diem payments as assigned
• Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures
  
  Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • CPA or masters preferred
  • Project Accounting experience preferred
  • Sports or Entertainment experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
